Clothing is the most obvious cultural symbol and the most important and specific aspect of ethnicity and tribe, which is quickly affected by acculturation phenomena among different societies. The wedding dress has also been one of the important characteristics and dominated by this cultural element. which has been conducted in a descriptive-analytical way. Field and library methods have been used to collect information to study the symbolic role of the color of the wedding ceremony dress of the girls of the Caspian region of Iran and how it is influenced by its ethnic-tribal identity. The results of the research indicate that the application of color in the marriage ritual of the Caspian regions of Iran has symbolic meanings in addition to aesthetic aspects and is related to the theme of the intended ritual. For example, the presence of the green color in the wedding dress of the northern regions of Iran is a symbol of the greenery and freshness of these regions and indicative of the fertility and greenness of the couple. White color is a symbol of honesty and purity and the beginning of life based on intimacy. which is often seen in the headscarves of the brides in these regions.The symbolic role of red in these rituals is love, life, and happiness.
