ملخص المقالة :
پژوهش حاضر به منظور بررسی اثربخشی واقعیت‌درمانی بر افسردگی زنان سرپرست خانوار تحت حمایت کمیته امداد امام خمینی شهر شیراز در سال 1397 انجام شده است. در این پژوهش از روش تجربی با طرح پیش‌آزمون ـ پس‌آزمون با گروه کنترل استفاده شده است. جامعه‌ی آماری این پژوهش، زنان سرپرست خانوار مراجعه‌کننده به کمیته امداد امام خمینی شهرستان شیراز در سال 1397 بود که در ادامه بر اساس روش نمونه‌گیری هدفمند 30 نفر از آنها که نمره بالا از این پرسشنامه را بدست آورده بودند به صورت تخصیص تصادفی به دو گروه کنترل و آزمایش تقسیم شدند. هر دو گروه قبل از شروع مداخله پرسشنامه‌های افسردگی بک را تکمیل کرده بودند. گروه آزمایش بسته آموزشی واقعیت‌درمانی را در هشت جلسه دریافت کرد. سپس پرسشنامه افسردگی بک مجدداً توسط هر دو گروه تکمیل شد. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از تحلیل کوواریانس مؤید آن بود که مداخله مبتنی بر واقعیت‌درمانی موجب کاهش افسردگی زنان سرپرست خانوار می‌شود.
