At early stages of new product development, the effort tooptimize is low and effects on the whole innovation process are high.Therefore, a deeper understanding of Fuzzy Front End and its successcan help firms to be more successful in developing new products. Wepresented and tested a conceptual model of relationships among keyvariable sre lated to the Fuzzy Front End,execution phase of new productdevelopment projects and success of these project sat this study.Necessary information has been gathered from 28oil and gas companiesin south of Iran. For the most part of study,received informationsupport assumed relationship and claimed importance of Fuzzy FrontEnd was confirmed. The results show importance of all sections involvementin new product development process to better communication andproject success are achieved. This process can bespread by the initialplanning for any new product development projects. The positive effectso freducing the technical and market un certainty during the FuzzyFront End phase were discovered that it was measured by the deviationof the specifications and quality of communication. The Results ofstudy indicate signifi can trole of reduction of technical uncertainty inefficiency of new product development projects and the importance of early planning to develop a mutual under standing and improve communicationin the final stages of new product development process, thesupport.
