ملخص المقالة :
روستا شهرها، از موفق‌ترین نمونه‌های سکونتگاهی هستند که تأثیر بسزایی در راستای رفع ناموزونی‌های منطقه‌ای و نابرابری‌های ناحیه‌ای دارند. هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی و سنجش نقش شهر کوچک توحید در توسعه‌ی پایدار سکونتگاه‌های ناحیه‌ای است، این پژوهش از نظر هدف کاربردی - نظری و به لحاظ ماهیت و روش، توصیفی- تحلیلی و از مطالعات اسنادی، کتابخانه‌ای و پیمایشی استفاده گردیده است. جامعه آماری پژوهش برابر با (374) نفر تعیین و برآورد شده است. برای انتخاب نمونه‌های آماری از روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی ساده و برای تجزیه‌وتحلیل اطلاعات از آزمون T تَک نمونه‌ای و آزمون فریدمن با نرم‌افزار SPSS و تحلیل تراکم جمعیتی (Kernel density) از نرم‌افزار ARC GIS استفاده‌شده است. نتایج تحلیل آزمون‌های آماری جهت بررسی تأثیر و نقش شهر کوچک توحید در ابعاد پایداری سکونتگاه‌های حوزه نفوذ نشان داد که بعد مدیریتی با (34/3) دارای بالاترین امتیاز و شاخص‌های اجتماعی – فرهنگی با (61/2 ) دارای کمترین امتیاز می‌باشد. یافته‌های پژوهش نشان از ارتباط مستقیم و معنادار بین ابعاد توسعه می‌باشد. در نهایت نتایج آزمون تی تک نمونه‌ای نشان داد، مؤلفه‌های چهارگانه مورد مطالعه با سطح معناداری کمتر از 05/0، بر تقویت شهر توحید در راستای تقویت توسعه ناحیه‌ای اثرگذار می‌باشند. بر اساس تحلیل فضایی (تراکم جمعیتی) به‌عمل‌آمده بین عوامل جغرافیایی از قبیل دوری و نزدیکی و میزان رابطه با شهر رابطه‌ی معناداری وجود دارد. یعنی روستاهایی که در فاصله نزدیک‌تری از شهر واقع‌شده‌اند رابطه بیشتری با شهر داشته درنتیجه تمرکز جمعیت در آن‌ها بیشتر و پایداری آن‌ها بیشتر و برعکس نیز صادق است. باید گفت شهرهای کوچک مخصوصاً در ارتباط با سکونتگاه‌های پیرامونی، تأثیرات عمدتاً مثبت و بعضاً منفی مختلفی را در ابعاد گوناگون بر نواحی پیرامونی بر جای می‌گذارند که در این پژوهش به آن پرداخته‌شده است.
