هدف از پژوهش پیش بینی سلامت روانی بر اساس هوش معنوی در دانشجویان دانشگاه تهران بود. بدین منظور از جامعه دانشجويان دانشگاه تهران تعداد 131 نفر(43 مرد و 88 زن) از روش همبستگی و به شيوه نمونهگيري طبقهاي سهمی انتخاب شدند. پرسشنامه های سیاهه هوش معنوی (King, 2008) و چک لیست نشانگان رفتاری (Derogatis et al., 1973) بر روی آنها اجراء شد. تحلیل داده ها با استفاده از تحلیل رگرسیون چندگانه نشان داد که سلامت روانی دانشجویان را می توان از روی هوش معنوی پیش بینی کرد. همچنین نتایج پژوهش نشان داد، دانشجوياني كه هوش معنوی بالاتری داشتند، از سلامت روانی بالاتر و دانشجوياني كه هوش معنوی کمتری داشتند، از سلامت روانی کمتری برخوردار بودند (01/0 P < و 05/0 P <).
