بنیان‌های ژئوپلیتیکی روابط ایران با عراق نوین

در این مقاله تلاش شده است مناسبات تهران با عراق جدید در سه حوزه متفاوت (مناسبات با شمال عراق، مناسبات با شیعیان و مناسبات با اهل تسنن) مورد بررسی و تحلیل قرار گیرد. نتایج نشان می‌دهد دولتمردان ایران سعی دارند از یک طرف طی توسعه مناسبات با شیعیان و دولت مرکزی با استفاده از عنصر مذهب و ایدئولوژی در سیاست خارجی، قدرت سیاسی و نظامی خود را به عنوان بازیگر اول ژئوپلیتیک شیعه در منطقه و جهان افزایش دهند و از سوی دیگر با توسعه مناسبات با اقلیم کردستان عراق طی تنظیم مناسبات دوجانبه و چندجانبه با اکراد، ترکیه در این حوزه سوپاپی برای امنیت ملی خود فراهم نمایند تا اولاً از میزان تهدیدات ناشی از این منطقه بر امنیت ملی ایران بکاهند و ثانیاً با حلقه وصل شدن بین اکراد و شیعیان و تعمیق روابط آنها میزان تأثیرگذاری ایران بر صحنه عراق و منطقه را افزایش دهند. نتایج نشان می‌دهد ایران در توسعه مناسبات با اهل تسنن به علت ماهیت ساختاری، استفاده از عنصر مذهب در سیاست خارجی، سابقه تاریخی چالش‌های مذهبی در منطقه و... به سان دو عرصه دیگر موفق نبوده است و از تحکیم پیوند‌های شیعی سنی در جهان اسلام بر محوریت منزلت ژئوپلیتیکی ایران به خصوص پس از تحولات سوریه طی سه سال گذشته موفقیت چندانی حاصل ننموده است.
