زمینه و هدف: آلودگی محیط زیست به ویژه در قرن حاضر به سبب رشد جمعیت، توسعه تکنولوژی و کشاورزی رو به افزایش است. یکی از آلایندههای مهم زیستمحیطی فلزات سنگین هستند که به اکوسیستم های آبی راه یافته و سبب آن ها آلودگی می گردند. این عناصر بسیار پایدار بوده و به دلیل قابلیت تجمع زیستی و سمیت دارای اهمیت هستند. میزان فلزات سنگین در اکوسیستمهای آبی با اندازهگیری غلظت آنها در آب، رسوبات و بافت های بدن موجودات زنده مشخص میگردد. رسوبات بستر، منبع بالقوه آلودگی در محیطهای آبی بوده و بهعنوان شاخصی برای آلودگی محیطهای آبی مطرح میباشند که با مطالعه آن میتوان به سادگی کمیت و کیفیت آلودگی را در محیط تعیین نمود. با توجه به این که اشکال گوناگون فلزات دارای تحرک، دسترسی زیستی و سمیت متفاوت هستند، اندازهگیری غلظت کل بهتنهایی نمیتواند اطلاعات کاربردی در مورد آلودگی فراهم سازد؛ از این رو فرایند استخراج متوالی بهمنظور تعیین آلودگی فلزات سنگین توسعهیافته است.روش بررسی: در این پژوهش غلظت عناصر کادمیوم، مس، سرب، روی و کروم در رسوبات سطحی تالاب انزلی با روش تفکیک شیمیایی چهار مرحلهای مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. براى تعیین میزان آلودگى رسوبات سطحى نمونهها از 6 ایستگاه در بخش جنوب غربی تالاب انزلی و توسط دستگاه نمونهبردار گرب ون وین برداشت گردید. پس از هضم اسیدی رسوبات و ورود عناصر هر بخش به فاز محلول، به منظور تعیین غلظت عناصر موردمطالعه از دستگاه جذب اتمى استفاده شد.یافتهها: غلظت متوسط فلزات سنگین در مراحل مختلف تفکیک شیمیایی نشان میدهد که میزان عناصر در فازهای مختلف رسوب متفاوت بوده است. بیش ترین و کم ترین غلظت به ترتیب در بخش مقاوم و قابل تبادل مشاهده گردید: مقاوم > اکسیداسیون آلی > سولفیدی > سست. میانگین غلظت فلزات سنگین نیز در رسوبات منطقه محاسبه شد که به ترتیب شامل Zn > Cu > Pb > Cr > Cd به دست آمد.بحث و نتیجهگیری: بر اساس دادههای حاصل، شاخص شدت آلودگی برای عناصر موردبررسی محاسبه گردید. نتایج حاکی از این است که فلز کادمیوم در رسوبات منطقه دارای شدت آلودگی متوسط بوده و آلودگی سایر عناصر مشاهده نگردید. محاسبه فاکتور آلاینده فردی (ICF) برای فلزات نیز نشان میدهد که سرب و کروم دسترسی زیستی بالایی داشته و می توانند برای موجودات زنده خطرساز باشند، درحالی که عناصر کادمیوم، مس و روی دارای دسترسی زیستی کمی هستند.
