مداخله ای برای آسان سازی دوران گذار از زن و شوهری به پدر و مادری

با هدف آزمون فرضیۀ اثربخش بودن یک مداخلۀ روانی-آموزشی و با یک طرح آزمایشی، 46 نفر از زن و شوهرهای مراجعه کننده به بیمارستان صارم تهران که تازه فرزنددار شده بودند، مداخله ای برای آسان سازی گذار از زن و شوهری به پدر و مادری دریافت کردند. داده ها با یک پرسشنامۀ پژوهشگرساخته جمع آوری و وارد تحلیل واریانس اندازه گیری مکرر و تحلیل رگرسیون شدند. در گروه آزمایش، سه ماه پس از مداخله و در مقایسه با گروه کنترل و پیش آزمون، احساس خوشایند مردان در هنگام تعارض افزایش یافت، احساس ناخوشایند مردان در هنگام تعارض کاهش یافت، و توهین زن و مرد به یکدیگر در هنگام تعارض کمتر شد. میزان افزایش احساس خوشایند مرد در سه ماه پس از مداخله، توانست افزایش احساس خوشایند زن را در یک سال پس از مداخله پیش بینی کند، و میزان کاهش احساس ناخوشایند مرد در سه ماه پس از مداخله، توانست کاهش احساس ناخوشایند زن را در یک سال پس از مداخله پیش بینی نماید. پس اولاً، بهبودی پس از مداخله می تواند کم کم (نه فوری) آشکار شود، ثانیاً، مردها زودتر از زن ها بهبود می یابند، و ثالثاً، بهبودی های زودهنگام، پیش بینی کنندۀ بهبودی های دیرهنگام هستند.
