Abstract :
The Khuzestan flood of April 2019 is one of the great floods of the last few decades in the province, which resulted in flooding of a large part of the province's lands and severe damage to important crops such as wheat and rapeseed, as well as citrus and date orchard crops. Wheat and rapeseed fields are often in the final stages of growth and ripening, and flooding, in addition to damaging these crops, has destroyed some facilities such as grade 3 canals and dams, and in some cases caused sediment to accumulate in fields and orchards. The present article shows some of the field observations from the northern regions of Khuzestan province, especially Shush and Shushtar regions.
