Due to the problems they face as a result of industrialization, population growth, urban growth and development, and which lead to the destruction of their environment, megacities have been specially considered in environmental policies; Because the mentioned factors, without taking into account the ability and aptitude of the environment for all kinds of development, have upset the balance of the environment and created problems for mankind. Therefore, finding a solution to recognize and organize the drivers that cause this situation can be the first step to solve it. problems and problems have been created. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the environmental situation of Isfahan metropolis based on the DPSIR model. To find solutions to solve the problems by following the relationships in this model. The information of the current research was conducted in 1401 based on library studies, examination of current status reports, preparation of questionnaires and interviews with experts; Then this information was determined in the framework of the mentioned model and after the cause-effect analysis, management measures were presented. According to the findings, a total of six driving forces were identified for the evil of Isfahan, population growth as the most important driving force and consideration of the human and social aspects of urbanization in management plans and urban growth were proposed as the most important solution in the direction of sustainable urban development policy. Population growth in the city of Isfahan and the growth and development of industries and their consequences have exposed the environment to all kinds of pressures, which must be taken into account in management planning and measures should be taken for it.
