This research focuses on " The effectiveness of spatial factors of interior architecture on positive and negative mood and sense of worth of the elderly living in Kamal nursing home in Tehran in 1402." The primary research question is whether spatial factors in interior architecture have an impact in shaping positive and negative mood, and sense of worth of the elderly living in the Elderly Home or not.The current research method is a semi- experimental design with a pre-test and post-test with a control group. The population of this research consists of all elderly living in the Elderly Home, and the sample includes elderly men and women living in the Kamal Elderly Home. Using a simple random sampling method, 30 elderly individuals were assigned to two groups of 15 experimental and 15 control participants. The research tools used in this study include the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS), and Contingencies of the Self-Worth Scale (CSWS). The statistical model used in this research contains multivariate analysis of covariance and paired t-test, and the findings indicate that the design of the elderly home based on spatial factors in interior architecture significantly impacts increasing positive mood and reducing negative mood, and sense of satisfaction.
