Studying and Ranking the Types of Personnel Organizational Commitment by Considering Demographic Structure: Case study of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics

Abstract :
The present study is to investigate and rank the types of personnel organizational commitment viewing demographic structure. The research method is descriptive based onresearch planning, correlation in terms of method, and practical in terms of the goal. The statistical population includes 160 staffs and managers and based on decision-making table of Krejcie and Morgan containing 113 people. Data collection method is field survey. The questionnaire is in two parts: the first one made by the researcher incluing the respondents' personal information consisted of six items: work place, education, experience, job and etc and the second is organizational commitment questionnaire (OCQ) including 15 items made by experts like Hi Lna Labmedain, Ax Andrelitian, and Loreta Gostenin et al. In all these questionnaires, Likert scale is used. Reliability of tools is confirmed by judgmental reliability and the validity is proved by the samples using Cronbach's alpha coefficients and SPSS software as %90.7. In this research descriptive and inferential statistics are used by applying SPSS and EXCEL software to analyze the data collected. Research findings represent that there is not a significant relationship between age, job, education, experience, and job field by organizational commitment, but only a significant relationship between personnel's membership type and organizational commitment.
