This study was to present effective components in the financial independence strategy of private professional sports clubs. The present research method is qualitative with a Glaser approach and is exploratory. The statistical population included experts and professors in the field of sports management and marketing, and managers and officials of private clubs. The sampling method was non-probability sampling, with purposeful selection and maximum diversity or heterogeneity. The sample size in this study was based on the theoretical saturation index equal to 15 people. The measurement tool was an open interview and was analyzed based on three stages of open, axial and selective coding. In order to increase the quality and validity of the research, based on the four criteria proposed by Guba and Lincoln, validity, confirmability, reliability and transferability were considered, and the test-retest reliability method was used to measure reliability. By analyzing the data, 67 initial concepts and 12 main components were identified. The effective components in the present study included legal and regulatory factors, interaction with the media, creating a platform for sponsor attraction, developing sponsor attraction, improving laws for sponsors, granting facilities to sponsors, training specialized personnel, commercial income, management factors, development strategies, and economic approach. The identified factors are independent, but at the same time interdependent; therefore, it is better for the club's financial management to follow up on these components in a comprehensive program so that effective implementation mechanisms can be provided to overcome the financial .challenges of the sports club
