Articles Submission and Review Process
The Journal of Studies in Learning and Teaching English is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by Shiraz Azad University, Shiraz, Iran. Authors are encouraged to submit unpublished and original works which are not under review in other journals. To register, authors are requested to refer to the journal website (https://sanad.iau.ir/journal/jslte/), and they will be provided with a username and a password to follow up the reviewing process. Authors are requested to submit the following files:
1) Title page including all information about the author/s (name, affiliation, postal address, contact number, academic email address),
2) Main Manuscript without the names of the authors and any information within the article revealing the identity of the author(s).
3) Similarity Check Report file obtained from the plagiarism checking tool hamsana.ir for Iranian authors, and https://www.ithenticate.com/ or https://www.turnitin.com/ for foreign authors.
Plagiarism Check
Authors are required to check their work for plagiarism before submission using hamsana.ir and provide the report (PDF) when submitting the article. The editorial office also runs a plagiarism check on every manuscript upon final acceptance.
General Writing Style Guidelines
1. Files format: Manuscript files must be written in MS Word, font 12, Times New Roman, including tables, figures, references, and appendices.
2. Length: Length of manuscripts should be between 6000-10000 words, A4 paper size. The maximum limit of words can be extended under certain circumstances.
3. Referencing style: Authors need to follow APA (7th edition) in their referencing list and in-text citations.
4. The journal does not publish more than one article, whether single- or multiple-authored, in a single volume.
Financial Requirements
While submitting their manuscripts, authors are required to pay 5,000,000 Rials as review process. Upon acceptance of articles, they need to pay 10,000,000 Rials as publication fee.
