Abstract :
Objective: Considering the serious situation of Alishahrcity regarding the location of waste disposal, it should be acknowledged that in general, a landfill in this city should be located in a place that causes the least harm in various aspects, including environmental, social and economic. The purpose of the research is to investigate and analyze the spatial location of the waste disposal site in Alishahrcity.
Method: The research was conducted in a descriptive and analytical manner and was used to obtain Dem information of the area(US Geological Survey site),to obtain the main road(Open Street Map site), to determine the spatial location of the city(GoogleEarth andGIS software). To investigate and analyze the spatial location of the waste disposal site, 7 indicators were selected in accordance with the study area and after categorizing the indicators, a questionnaire with values of 1to7was provided to the experts to prioritize the indicators; Expert choice software was used to weight the indicators in the(AHP)model.
Findings: According to the results obtained from the experts in the AHP model, the two factors of slope and distance from the city and village are given the highest priority, and the distance from the fault and distance from the river are given the lowest priority, respectively.
Conclusion:Based on the research findings, it was determined that the current site is very unsuitable for waste disposal. Considering the current situation and the future development of the city, two locations were proposed in the south to southeast.
