هدف تحقیق حاضر تعیین رابطۀ هوش هیجانی مدیران با عملکرد آنان در گروه صنعتی بهمن در سال 1392 بوده است، روش تحقیق از نوع همبستگی می باشد و جامعه آماری آن را کلیه مدیران و سرپرستان گروه صنعتی بهمن به تعداد 60 نفر تشکیل داده است .برای برآورد حجم نمونه جدول مورگان و روش نمونه برداری طبقه ای نسبتی به کار رفته و تعداد 52 نمونه برآورد گردیده است. داده ها با استفاده از پرسشنامه استاندارد هوش هیجانی گلمن گردآوری شده در خصوص عملکرد مدیران از میانگین امتیازات نظام ارزیابی عملکرد دوره ای مدیران گروه صنعتی بهمن در طی دو دوره متوالی استفاده شده است. از نظر استادان راهنما و مشاور، جهت اطمینان از روائی پرسشنامه بهره گرفته شد. پایایی پرسشنامه با استفاده از آزمون آلفای کرونباخ 95 درصد برآورد گردید. نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که بین هوش هیجانی و مؤلفه های خودآگاهی، مهارت های خود مدیریتی، آگاهی اجتماعی با عملکرد مدیران رابطه معناداری وجود دارد و مؤلفه های مهارت اجتماعی، خود مدیریتی و آگاهی اجتماعی به صورت مستقیم عملکرد مدیران را تبیین می کنند.
The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and managerial performance in Bahman Industrial Group. The research method is correlation, and the statistical population includes all the managers of Bahman Industrial Group, totaling 60 managers. The research sample consists of 52 individuals, selected based on Morgan Table and stratified random sampling method. The data for emotional intelligence were collected by Danial Golman's standard questionnaire, and to evaluate managers' performance, the average of the scores of the periodic evaluation system of Bahman Industrial Group managers' performance in two consecutive periods was used. The supervising professors and advisors' views were utilized to confirm the validity of the questionnaire. Also, the reliability of the questionnaire was calculated 95 percent through the use of Cronbach's Alpha. The results indicated that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and its components-self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and social skills-with managers' performance. Also, the components social skills, self-management, and social awareness directly explain managers' performance.
