اثر هزینههای نظامی بر بدهیهای خارجی در کشورهای در حال توسعه

چکیده مقاله :
در کشورهای در حال توسعه از یک طرف بدهی های خارجی گسترده بوده و از طرف دیگر هزینه های نظامی در دهههای اخیر افزایش یافته است. در این مقاله آثار هزینه های نظامی و درآمد ملی بر بدهی های خارجی در 77 کشور در حال توسعه در دورهی 2007- 1993 با استفاده از گشتاورهای تعمیم یافته (GMM) تحلیل می شود. نتایج نشان می دهد هزینه های نظامی اثر مثبت ( 33/0) و درآمد اثر منفی ( 0.38-) بر بدهی های خارجی داشته است.
In developing countries, the amount of foreign debts is high, while their military costs have been increased in recent decades. In this article, the effects of military costs and national income on foreign debts have been investigated in 77 developing countries during 1993-2007, using GMM. Results show military cost has positive effect (0.33) and national income has negative effect (-0.38) on foreign debts.
