Abstract :
The present study was conducted with the aim of validating the local model of citizenship education for the elementary school in Iran. The statistical population consists of all primary teachers of the four educational districts of Shiraz, numbering 7577 people; Based on Cochran's formula and stratified random method proportional to the volume, 390 people participated in the research. The data collection tool is a researcher-made questionnaire with 57 questions based on a five-point Likert scale. In order to validate the local model presented by the authors of this article (Mousavi, Qoltash and Vasifian, 1402), the technique of the results of the factor analysis technique was used to teach citizenship rights for the elementary school in Iran. Accordingly, in all confirmatory factor analysis models, factor loadings were higher than 0.5 and significant. The validity of confirmatory factor analysis models was confirmed through convergent construct validity and reliability through composite reliability. Also, the values of goodness-of-fit indices (GFI), smoothed goodness-of-fit index (NFI), comparative goodness-of-fit indices (CFI) and incremental goodness-of-fit index (IFI) were obtained greater than 0.90; which are considered an acceptable value to confirm the suitability of the model. Also, the root mean square residual index (RMSEA) was less than 0.08, which means that the models have a good fit; And finally, the chi-square value of the degree of freedom (Chi2/df) was less than 3,which indicates the appropriate fit of the model. The probability of the chi-square statistic greater than 0.05 showed that all models are suitable at the 95% confidence level
