Abstract :
Body Area Networks (BANs) are set of sensors on human body that can be used on IOT application, transferring information obtained from the body to the sink node wirelessly. In BAN-IOT applications, given the restricted battery power of sensors, energy has been seen as a challenge. With energy limitation of sensors, hop by hop routing can reduce energy consumption level. In routing, delivering information on sensors should be accomplished with respect to its quality of service. On the contrary, temperature rise in body sensors can damage patient’s tissues. In this paper, next hop node in the network is selected by using hop by hop routing. The results of simulation show that the proposed method significantly improve the network lifetime and energy consumption of network sensors compared with base protocol, making efficiency of base protocol better.
