Background: Esophageal Artesia is one of the neonatal malformations that has contradiction with life and is neonatal surgery emergency. This anomaly makes many problems for mothers because they have to look after their operated babies. Due to this illness in digestion system and negative effect on infant nutrition, growth and development, it might result in mother’s and child’s unsuitable quality of life for many years. Methods: The study uses a qualitative approach to phenomenology. Sampling method is based on objective and is done until data saturation. Information from16 unstructured interviews with 10 mothers who have children with a history of Esophageal Artesia surgery has been collected. Colaizzi method is used for data analysis. Results: Interviews were extracted and analyzed. Seven themes and sub concepts were identified which were: 1-knowledge and awareness,2- readiness for acceptance and compatibility with the child's medical condition, 3-support and companionship,4- effective services of health care system, 5-concern and anxiety,6- tough and difficult moments of living with pediatric patients and complications 7- disease problems of Esophageal Artesia in children. Conclusions: The results of this study represent a wide range of problems and needs of mothers with a child with Esophageal Artesia. Child’s parents often have not adequate education, support of the treatment team, and don’t follow up after they leave hospital. Therefore, with forming multipurpose group in hospital and home visiting mother and child as a cure, attention was paid until child’s health condition recovered. Manuscript profile

Introduction: Due to the increasing number of live kidney transplant donors, there is a demand for more comprehensive care programs to promote health and reduce complications of surgery and organ harvesting. The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of the continuous care model on the general health of kidney donors. Methods: In the quasi-randomized controlled trial study, 55 kidney donors participated from three kidney transplant centers in Isfahan, Tehran, and Shiraz in 2019-2020. Samples were selected by the convenience sampling methods and then randomly divided into experimental (n=25) or control (n=30) groups. The data collection tool included a demographic information questionnaire and Goldberg general health questionnaire. The continuous care model was implemented for the experimental group and the control group received routine interventions. Data analysis was undertaken by Man-Whitney as well as Wilcoxon rank sum tests to compare mean difference between scores before and after the interventions. Significance level was defined 0.5 in this research. Statistical calculations were performed by SPSS (Version 22).Results: According to the outcomes of the study, from 55 participants, 20 were women (36.34%) and 35 men (63.66%).Majority of the participants aged 29-38 , and financial problems were the leading reason of donation in most cases( 8/81).the mean of the general health score had no significant difference before intervention in the two groups of experimental and control (45.16 vs 45.73, P=0.898). Yet, Mann-Whitney test showed a significant increase in the general health of the experimental group than the control group (19.40 vs 42.97, P < .001).Conclusions: Continuous care model has the potential as a management strategy for increasing the general health of kidney donors. Therefore, it is recommended to use this care model for donors who are often unable to spend additional costs to improve the quality of their health. Manuscript profile

IIntroduction: The family environment serves as an individual's initial growth and normative learning ground. Nevertheless, it becomes apparent that any shortcomings in family dynamics have adverse implications for a child's behavior, potentially leading to negative repercussions for society as a whole. This research was carried out to elucidate the experiences of families with delinquent children who sought assistance at the psychiatric emergency department of Noor and Hazrat Ali Asghar Hospital in Isfahan in 2018.Method: The study encompassed the entire population of families with delinquent children who sought assistance at the psychiatric emergency department of Noor and Hazrat Ali Asghar (AS) Hospital in Isfahan during the year 2018. Employing a qualitative approach rooted in phenomenology, this research utilized semi-structured, in-depth interviews as the primary data collection method. The sampling process initiated purposefully and continued until data saturation was achieved. All interviews transpired within the premises of the psychiatric emergency department at Noor and Hazrat Ali Asghar (AS) Hospital, with each interview lasting between 45 to 60 minutes. A total of 11 participants were interviewed, accumulating a total of 25 interviews. Results: The results of this research led to the identification of 300 primary-level codes, 38 secondary-level codes, and 19 tertiary-level codes. Ultimately, 8 sub-themes were derived, encompassing 6 sub-themes associated with parents (neglect, inadequate parenting, child maltreatment, unsuitable upbringing environment, family detachment, and parental addiction) and 2 sub-themes related to the child (inappropriate personality traits and individual deviation). Conclusion: In this study, the sub-themes related to parents, namely family coldness, parental addiction, and inappropriate parenting, held more significance and comprised the majority of the codes. Hence, increased parental engagement in child-rearing practices, enhancing the quality of family relationships, and addressing parental addiction can contribute to the reduction of delinquent behaviors in children. Introduction: The diagnosis of cancer creates concerns for patients, which leads to severe psychological complications. The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of sound therapy on the perceived stress of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Methods: This clinical trial study was conducted on 70 cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Dr. Ali Shariati Hospital in Fasa in 2018. Sampling was done by the convenience method and the samples were randomly divided into two control and test groups. The intervention group received the recitation of the Holy Quran, traditional music or heavenly prayers. The data collection tool was Cohen's Perceived Stress Questionnaire. Data analysis was done by SPSS software version 16 and using the statistical test of analysis of variance with repeated measurements along with Bonferroni's post hoc test. Results: The mean age of the patients in the control and test groups were 38.03±14.18 and 41.31±10.86 years respectively. There was no significant difference between the mean of stress scores in the control group patients before and after the intervention (p<0.05). But the mean of stress scores in the test group patients decreased significantly after the intervention (p<0.001). Also, after the intervention, patients in the test group had lower mean stress scores compared to the control group (p<0.001). Conclusion: Based on the results of the present study, sound therapy reduced the perceived stress of patients. Therefore, this non-invasive and uncomplicated method can be easily used by the treatment team to help reduce the stress of cancer patients. Manuscript profile

Introduction: The health of the baby is one of the indicators contributing in development of the countries, and its relationship with the mother's diet has been proved. Scientific researches In terms of the effect of the diet of pregnant women on the health of the newborn, enhancing of this diet can be aimed at improving the health of the newborn. Newborn thyroid screening at birth is one of the common tests in the country, and it is valuable to examine the factors affecting its results. Methods: This study was a descriptive method of correlation type and 280 mothers were selected as available in the Gharazi hospital. The questionnaires included demographic information and FFQ dietary pattern with 117 items. The information was entered into spss software version 20 for analysis. Results: According to the results of this study, the level of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) in 263 babies (94.9%) was less than 4 and healthy babies, and in 14 babies (5.1%) was more than 4 and babies with hypothyroidism. The average TSH in infants was 2.05±1.12. Three healthy, western and traditional food patterns were observed in the mothers of these babies. A healthy diet reduces the risk of increasing TSH levels, and there was a correlation between the western diet and an increase in TSH more than 4, and a correlation between the traditional diet and a decrease in TSH less than 4, but none of the relationships were statistically significant. Evidence of the existence of an inverse and significant relationship between the education level of the mother and her western food pattern and the weight loss of the baby was observed at the error level of 1%.Conclusion: The evidence showed that in a healthy mother's diet, the newborn's TSH level and the newborn's weight are within the normal range. The risk of consuming western and traditional foods should be reminded to mothers by health workers. Manuscript profile
