Introduction: Utilizing optimal accreditation practices in pharmacies can be considered as a way to move towards improving quality and optimal health outcomes. The aim of this study was to review the models of pharmacy accreditation program. Methods: To conduct this research, regular searches were performed from the databases of SID, Pub Med, Google Scholar, WHO and the sites of reputable organizations, using the keywords accreditation program, pharmacy and model and their Persian equivalents according to the inclusion and exit criteria of the definition. The output was 1217 sources and articles, of which 199 were related to the study. Based on the purpose of the study, the found sources were refined and finally 9 models were reviewed. Dimensions and items of the models were identified, and during 2 stages of comparative study, dimensions and items that were similar in at least two models were extracted. Results: The results of this study were a review of 9 pharmacy accreditation models, Dimensions that were similar between the models included 9 dimensions of quality improvement, safety, service delivery, information management, human resource development, physical space, rules and regulations, facilities and requirements, and management of operations and 41 relevant items.
